AOD Originals - Full Funding
AOD Originals is an exciting collaboration between AOD Films and AOD members with the objective to create, support and distribute original documentary films.
This fund is only for AOD members in our Advanced Documentary course who are in the early stages of pre-production for an original documentary film. The filmmaker must demonstrate that they have access to the character/subject matter and have a clear vision on how to bring the film to completion. This is not a mentorship grant but rather a partnership.
Requirements:
- Must be an AOD Advanced Documentary student
- Provide a detailed treatment & sizzle video
- Provide a detailed treatment & sizzle video
- Provide a budget for the overall project
- Have secured guaranteed access to the character(s) or community you are filming with in writing
- Have secured guaranteed access to the character(s) or community you are filming with in writing
- Minimum $20,000 USD
AOD Films - Finishing Fund
This fund is for films that are close to completion and need a small amount of financial support.
Terms:
- $1000 - $3000 USD grants for financial assistance paid through PayPal
- Provide an estimated budget breakdown for where fund will be allocated
- AOD will be given a mention during the rolling credits "Made With The Support Of AOD Films"
Requirements:
- Applicants must be enrolled in an AOD course
- You are close to or are in the post-production stage (music, stock footage, colouring, pick up shots, animation ext.)
